Aircraft Maintenance Technician (traveling)

STS Technical Services is hiring experienced Aircraft

Mechanics in Moline, Illinois. This is a hands-on role where you’ll

be responsible for inspecting, testing, adjusting, repairing, and

maintaining airframe and engine systems to keep aircraft safe and

airworthy. Key Responsibilities Perform inspections, servicing, and

repairs of a complex nature on various aircraft systems and

components Troubleshoot and function test using manufacturer’s

technical documents across multiple airframe, engine, and component

systems Lead aircraft projects as directed by the Crew Chief and

Supervisor Prepare and complete required maintenance and

modification documentation in accordance with FAA Airworthiness

Regulations, Elliott Aviation Policies and Processes, FAA Approved

Repair Station and Quality Control Manuals, and OJT logs Locate and

use appropriate technical data to accomplish tasks efficiently and

correctly Support, maintain, and comply with all Federal, OSHA,

State, and local regulations as well as Elliott Aviation’s

Environmental, Health, and Safety Policies and Processes Perform

related duties as assigned Qualifications Ability to attain and

retain AOA badge or Airport requirements FAA Inspection

Authorization (IA) preferred Must obtain and retain designation as

an Elliott Aviation Production Inspector (Blue stamp) High school

diploma or equivalent required Thorough knowledge of FARs 43, 65,

91, 135, and 145 Aircraft maintenance experience preferred Licenses

Airframe & Powerplant License required Skills and Competencies

Ability to work on a team with both experienced technicians and

mentor junior technicians Willingness to learn and take guidance

from others Strong communication skills Organizational skills and

attention to detail Ability to maintain a safe and clean work
