The WCF Insurance Information Technology (IT) department has an immediate opening for someone who can demonstrate the WCF values to join their team in an Applications Developer . This is a full-time, exempt position that works in our Sandy, Utah Headquarters office. This posting is open to internal and external candidates.

Qualifications

The most qualified candidate will have :

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field and at least two years of work experience (or six years of work experience without a degree) as a programmer or analyst.
• Thorough knowledge of programming and computer logic skills.
• Proven ability to understand technical terms and concepts.
• Action and results-oriented, with ability to operate at both a strategic and operational level.

Responsibilities

Ability to fill position at Senior Applications Developer level depending on experience and qualifications.

All employees earn 4 weeks of vacation their first year. Expected salary for this Applications Developer position is $67,600 - $115,300 depending on experience, and education.

Internal candidates should have acceptable job performance, 6 months in their current position, and must notify their current supervisor that they have applied for the position.
