Telemetry RN Job Details – Easton, MD Job Title : Travel Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) Location : Easton, Maryland 21601 Assignment Type : Travel Nursing Contract Start Date : December 15, 2025 End Date : June 15, 2026 Contract Duration : 26 weeks Shift : 12-hour night shifts (7 : 00 PM – 7 : 30 AM) Weekly Hours : 36 (option for 48 hours available) Schedule : Every other weekend & holidays as scheduled Patient Ratio : 1 : 5-6 Scrub Color : Royal Blue Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $1790–$1920 Registered Nurse Qualifications Current and active Maryland or Compact Registered Nurse (RN) license Minimum 2 years of recent Telemetry RN experience in a hospital setting BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA required) NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) – can be completed onsite during onboarding Experience with Epic electronic charting system preferred Previous charge nurse experience preferred Prior travel nursing experience required Ability to float within specialty and to lower acuity units as needed Flu vaccine required (no exemptions) Two professional references from recent employers (one supervisor / manager and one charge RN acceptable) Permanent residence must be 50 miles from facility Telemetry RN Responsibilities Deliver high-quality patient care to telemetry patients, including adolescents, adults, and geriatric populations Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, promptly responding to changes in patient condition Administer medications and manage cardiac drips (no titration required) Perform central line care, chest tube management, tracheostomy care, and wound care Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including physical therapy, respiratory therapy, and pharmacy Float to lower acuity units or sister facilities as needed Participate in self-scheduling and work every other weekend and scheduled holidays Document patient care using Epic (preferred) Ensure compliance with all hospital policies and clinical procedures Ready to take the next step in your travel nursing career?
