Environmental Services Supervisor

This supervisor's primary responsibility is to provide daily supervision to Environmental Services Staff. Evaluates, educates, and disciplines employees to ensure departmental operations are of the highest quality and lowest possible cost, expected to fill 75% to 80% of the time commitment. In addition performs general cleaning in and around hospital departments and / or extensive cleaning duties in various areas of the entity. Performs minor repairs, moves, transport of soiled equipment, and works in compliance with all safety and other regulations while delivering services to assigned units the other 20% or 25% of the time commitment.

Position Qualifications :

Experience :

• Two years of housekeeping experience in an institutional housekeeping department with one year of supervisor experience preferred.
• Proven ability to perform duties and tasks in accordance with established standards.
• Proven interpersonal skills.
