About The Position

Job Title : ICU Registered Nurse

Experience : Minimum of 3 years ICU experience

License : Registered Nurse License in Client or by reciprocity

Certifications : AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS required upon offer

Must-Have :

• Efficient in managing patients with external ventricular drains and multiple medication drips.
• Skilled in managing trauma patients of varying severity.
• Proficient in performing assessments using CAM, CPOT, and RASS.
• Familiar with the care of patients receiving hypothermia treatment.
• Knowledgeable in the care of pleurevac chest tube drainage.
• Familiar with using electronic medical records systems.
• Must observe strict isolation precautions, including hand hygiene protocols.
• Adherence to standard operating procedures and critical care practices is essential.
• Experienced with PCA pumps.

Description :

The ICU Registered Nurse will provide high-quality patient care in a critical care environment.

The nurse will work night shifts from 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 30 AM.

A Bachelor of Science in Nursing or higher from an accredited nursing school is required.

Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in an ICU setting.

All required certifications must be obtained prior to the start of the position.

The position may involve working every other weekend and holidays as needed.

Efficiency in managing complex patient needs and critical situations is essential.

The role requires a compassionate approach and adherence to professional nursing standards.

Effective communication and teamwork are critical in this fast-paced environment.
