The Boeing Learning & Development; Production System Training (PST) Functional Development organization is seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as a Senior Learning Program Development Specialist. This role is multifaceted role so the ideal candidate would have extensive knowledge and experience in the Manufacturing, Quality, and Safety domain. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing comprehensive learning programs. This role requires a deep understanding of manufacturing processes and procedures, strong project management skills, and the ability to design and develop effective training programs. This position can be located in Everett, WA; Renton, WA; Hazelwood, MO; Huntsville, AL or Mesa, AZ.
Position Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement strategic learning programs in the manufacturing domain, aligned to the appropriate processes, procedures, and organizational goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to identify training needs and create learning objectives.
- Design and develop engaging and interactive training materials, including presentations, e-learning modules, videos, and job aids.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, surveys, and feedback, and make necessary improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including HR, production operations, and engineering, to ensure alignment and integration of the learning program with other organizational initiatives.
- Be cognizant of budget, including vendor selection, to optimize resources and achieve cost-efficiency.
- Ensures Boeing learning content is aligned to the needs of the business and is compliant (DOD, FAA, OSHA, etc.).
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience) :
5+ years of experience with manufacturing processes and documentation (specifications, blueprints / REDARS / MBI, planning / MESci / GOLDesp / CMES / Velocity, etc.) including materials, techniques, and quality control3+ years of experience with project management, and the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously3+ years of experience in instructional design methodologies and adult learning principlesStrong interpersonal skills, with experience collaborating and building relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organizationExperience collecting and analyzing data to measure program effectiveness and make data-driven decisionsAbility to adapt to a fast-paced and changing environmentExperience with the identification and implementation of process improvements to learning enhance related solutionsExperience with Microsoft Office SuitePreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills / Experience) :
Knowledge and understanding of learning management system course and curricula architecture, curricula management, curation, and course maintenanceProven experience in designing and developing training programs in a manufacturing environmentProject / Program leadership experienceExperience with e-learning platforms and multimedia toolsExpert knowledge and experience with Quality Management System and Material Review processApplications for this position will be accepted until Dec. 02, 2025.
