Job description

Location : Burlington, Vermont

Position : Pediatric Urology Physician Locum Tenens

Duration : Ongoing

Schedule & Coverage

Clinic & OR Schedule :

Monday : day (afternoon clinic)

Tuesday : OR full day (surgical cases)

Thursday : Clinic full day

On-Call : Yes call hours as assigned

Patient Load : Minimum 6 patients per half-day session

Clinical Scope & Responsibilities

  • Primary Duties : Pediatric Urology patient care, surgical procedures, and collaboration with the care team
  • Procedures Required : Surgical cases, full operative schedule on Tuesdays
  • Support Staff : 1 Advanced Practice Provider (APP) and additional clinic staff
  • Supervision : Provider will work with APP and may have supervisory responsibilities

Qualifications

  • Board Status : Board Certified or Board Eligible (BC / BE) in Pediatric Urology
  • Certifications Required : BLS, ACLS, PALS (must be active at start)
  • Will accept VT or IMLC license
  • Experience : Prior pediatric urology surgical experience preferred

    • Facility Details

  • Trauma Level : Level 1 Trauma Center
  • EMR System : EPIC (same system for clinic and hospital)
  • Team Environment : Work alongside APP, with multidisciplinary collaboration
