About The Position

Job Title : Cardiac Cath Lab Tech

License : ARRT

Certifications : BLS, ACLS, ARRT

Must-Have :

• Competent in Special Procedures
• Familiar with GE Innova

Description : Unit Information :

Number of Beds : 4 rooms, with 1 patient per room.

Number of Staff : 22, consisting of Registered Nurses and Technicians.

Day Shift : 1 Charge RN, Director, and 4 staff members per room, totaling 16 per shift.

Night Shift : On-call team of 3 each call team, totaling 7.

Patient Ratios : 1 : 1.

Type of Equipment : All GE rooms.

EMR : Meditech and MacLab.

Typical hiring profile :

Most recruited skill set includes travel Registered Nurses, local Certified Nursing Assistants, and sitters.

Candidates without required skills will not be considered for this role.

Candidates with preferred or additional skills will be prioritized.

Typical procedures performed include cardiac catheterizations, cerebral angiograms, stenting, balloons, and various special procedures.

A suitable personality fit is a team player with a focus on patient care and critical thinking.

The environment is fast-paced, and on-call is frequent; flexibility is essential.

Dress Code : Surgical scrubs will be provided.

The unit has received a gold seal of approval and is recognized for its well-run department and excellent leadership.

Daily huddle calls facilitate relationship development among staff and patients.
