SourceAmerica is searching for Senior Accounts and Pricing Specialists, to join our team in a cohort training program. Join a dynamic cohort of professionals who will be trained and mentored together as you build a strong foundation in the AbilityOne Program, a federal program dedicated to expanding employment opportunities for people with disabilities. Through this immersive experience, you'll gain insight into how SourceAmerica supports federal government customers and our nonprofit agency network in delivering on contract requirements.
Upon completion of the program, you'll transition into a role within our Products or Services account teams, where you'll contribute to account management or price proposal development. Your placement will be thoughtfully aligned with your strengths and the needs of our business, setting you up for meaningful impact and continued growth.
There are approximately 500 NPAs in the SourceAmerica nonprofit network that provide products or services through the AbilityOne Program and approximately 36,000 AbilityOne employees are in the SourceAmerica nonprofit network.
Due to the job requirements - Ideal candidates would be based in the following states : Arizona, California, Colorado, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Texas, Utah, Virginia, and Washington State.
What You Will Do ...
- Maintain knowledge of the AbilityOne Program, and provide assistance in federal contracting, price development, and coordination of business operations and processes to ensure timely delivery of quality products / services.
- Assist NPAs in maintaining program and statutory compliance.
- Promote and strengthen the AbilityOne program by preserving existing contracts or developing product or service expansions that result in sustained increases in jobs and sales.
- Maintain an awareness of NPAs' capabilities to support the creation of new contract opportunities and matters related to the AbilityOne Program.
- Provide consultation about NPA capability for additional products / services proposed for expansions or additions to the AbilityOne Procurement List.
- Responsible for developing, analyzing, and coordinating the pricing data for Fair Market Pricing actions in support of all internal and external stakeholders for a variety of business lines, including Custodial, Food Service, Grounds Maintenance, Clothing and Textiles, Hardware and Equipment, Medical and office supplies, and others.
- Monitor the market and Federal regulation changes that impact cost elements and ensure NPA proposals follow established pricing policies.
- Review pricing projects using cost estimators, market data, and other pricing indicators.
Salary Range
The salary for this position falls in a range between $80,000 and $99,000 depending on your experience and geographic location in the United States.
What We're Looking For...
Associate's degree in a relevant field of study from an accredited institution instead of applicable skills training. SourceAmerica recognizes 1.5 years of experience = 1 year of college, should the candidate not meet the educational requirement.6 years of relevant experience in client relationship management, federal government procurement, federal contract administration, price proposal development, or manufacturing operations.Demonstrates strong collaboration and teamwork across multi-functional groups to effectively resolve customer issues, drive process improvements, and consistently meet deliverables.Maintains ownership of assigned projects, ensuring accountability and high-quality outcomes.Proactively updates and manages critical information across multiple business systems to support operational efficiency and informed decision-making.Proficiency in MS Office including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word.Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build and maintain relationships.This position requires travel based on business need.Preferred Bonuses ...
Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field of study from an accredited institution.Knowledge of manufacturing operations and supply chain management to improve efficiency and workflows.Understand costing / pricing of products and services and cost / price analysis principles and methods.Experience with price analysis and developing price proposals.Proficient in developing, reviewing, and validating pricing using Excel spreadsheets.Proficient user experience with an enterprise resource planning (ERP) system SourceAmerica uses Microsoft Dynamics 365 as its business application system.Capable of working independently and solving problems under time pressure.Work Environment
Our organization offers both a hybrid work model-where employees work in our office two to three days per week and work from home the balance of the workweek-as well as a fully remote work model, depending on the job requirements.
