Position Overview :
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Commercial Insurance Sales Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in the field of commercial insurance sales, with a minimum of 5 years of experience. This role requires a proactive individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, coupled with the ability to effectively cold call and generate leads. As a Commercial Insurance Sales Representative, you will play a critical role in expanding our client base and driving revenue growth.
Responsibilities :
1. Sales Strategy and Prospecting :
- Utilize your extensive experience in commercial insurance sales to develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy.
- Identify and target potential clients through cold calling, networking events, referrals, and other strategic approaches.
- Research and understand potential clients' business needs, industries, and risk profiles to tailor insurance solutions effectively.
2. Client Relationship Management :
Build and nurture strong, lasting relationships with prospective and existing clients.Serve as a trusted advisor by providing expert guidance on insurance products and coverage options.Conduct thorough needs assessments to recommend appropriate insurance solutions that align with clients' business objectives.3. Sales Presentation and Negotiation :
Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations to potential clients, highlighting the benefits and value of our insurance products.Address client inquiries and concerns while showcasing in-depth industry knowledge and understanding of insurance policies.Skillfully negotiate terms and coverage to ensure mutually beneficial agreements between clients and the company.4. Lead Generation and Cold Calling :
Leverage your cold calling experience to generate a steady stream of qualified leads.Implement effective cold calling techniques to initiate conversations and introduce insurance solutions to prospects.Document all interactions, lead progress, and sales activities in the CRM system accurately.5. Collaboration and Reporting :
Collaborate with internal teams, including underwriters and claims specialists, to create customized insurance proposals that meet client needs.Provide regular reports on sales activities, pipeline progress, and upcoming opportunities to sales management.Participate in team meetings to share insights, best practices, and contribute to the continuous improvement of sales strategies.Qualifications : Benefits :

A minimum of 5 years of proven success in commercial insurance sales.Demonstrated experience in cold calling and lead generation.In-depth knowledge of various commercial insurance products, industry trends, and underwriting guidelines.Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients.Results-driven mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.Relevant insurance licenses and certifications are a plus (CIC or CPCU preferred)
