Overview

We are currently seeking a dynamic individual to fill the role of regular, full-time Indutrial Maintenance Mechanic at our Poynette, Wisconsin production facility to support the 2nd Shift . Hours are Monday - Friday 3 PM - 11 PM

Hourly role with quarterly bonus potential.

Responsibilities

\n

  • Repairing and maintaining machinery, mechanical equipment and associated electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and structural make-up

\n

  • Light fabrication of guarding and machine structural repairs

    • \n

  • Maintaining and troubleshooting process equipment

    • \n

  • Updating our computerized maintenance management system (eMaint by Fluke)

    • \n

  • Maintaining supply discipline by ordering replacement parts

    • \n

  • Rebuilding / repairing pneumatic hand tools

    • \n

    Qualifications

    \n

  • Background in Industrial Maintenance.

    • \n

  • Solid background with and knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical equipment repairs.

    • \n

  • High mechanical aptitude and ability to apply to a range of equipment.

    • \n

  • Able to operate a variety of small hand and power tools, a variety of electronic test and measurement equipment, and a variety of production machines and equipment.

    • \n

  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office products is necessary.

    • \n

  • Curious mindset for trouble-shooting and problem-solving

    • \n \n

    Preferred, not required :

    \n

  • Ability to operate machines such as lathes, milling machines, drill presses, welding equipment and other metal working tools to make and repair parts is desirable.

    • \n

  • Ability to read electrical schematic / ladder logic diagrams and ability to troubleshoot electronic controlled device.

    • \n

  • Knowledge of root cause analysis / troubleshooting skills

    • \n

  • Education or working knowledge of PLCs, VFDs, and HMIs
