Position Overview :

We are seeking a Payroll & Billing Specialist who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and aligned with our Christian values. This individual will oversee payroll processing, client billing, vendor payments, and revenue tax compliance across multiple states. The right candidate will have strong QuickBooks Online experience, excellent communication skills, and a heart for service.

Key Responsibilities :

• Manage and process payroll accurately and on time for all employees.
• Prepare, review, and issue client invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
• Receive and record customer payments in QuickBooks Online.
• Process vendor payments and maintain accurate records of accounts payable.
• Ensure revenue / sales tax filings and payments are completed accurately and on time in multiple states.
• Generate and maintain accurate financial records for reporting.
• Collaborate with management to support budgeting and cash flow planning.
• Handle confidential information with the utmost integrity and discretion.
• Uphold and reflect Christian values in all interactionswith employees, clients, and vendors.

Qualifications :

• 2+ years of payroll, billing, or accounting experience (QuickBooks Online required).
• Knowledge of multi-state revenue / sales tax compliance.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Commitment to ethical business practices rooted in Biblical principles.

Preferred Skills :

• Experience in the construction industry or service-based businesses.
• Familiarity with compliance requirements for payroll and taxes in multiple states.
• Bilingual (English / Spanish) is a plus.
