Travel Nursing Job Details Location : Asheville, NC 28801 (North Carolina nursing jobs) Healthcare Setting : Operating Room (OR) Assignment Type : Travel Nursing Start Date : November 2, 2025 End Date : February 1, 2026 Contract Duration : 13 weeks Hours per Week : 40 Shift : 10 : 45 AM - 9 : 15 PM (10-hour shifts) Patient Ratio : 1 : 1 Documentation System : Cerner EMR Scrubs : Provided by Mission Hospital Estimated Weekly Salary : $1860-$2000 Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license Minimum 1 year of recent Operating Room RN experience Skill level 3 in joint, neuro, ortho, and vascular surgical procedures Comprehensive clinical experience in general, GYN, robotics, neuro, orthopedics, plastic surgery, urology, burn, and trauma service lines Ability to work variable schedules and participate in call rotation Flexibility to float to other hospital departments as needed OR RN Responsibilities Deliver safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care to surgical patients in the Operating Room Assist with a wide range of surgical procedures, including joint, neuro, ortho, and vascular cases Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams Maintain accurate patient documentation using Cerner EMR Participate in call rotation and adapt to variable scheduling as required Float to other units to support patient care across Mission Hospital Experience professional growth and an outstanding quality of life in Asheville, NC.
