RN Position Job Notes :

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity :

RN - Med Surg Orthopedic

Job Details :

• Work on orthopedic and medical surgical units with 30 and 37 beds respectively
• Patient ratios typically 6 : 1
• Full-time position requires working 4 weekend shifts per month (example : 3 Saturdays and 1 Sunday)
• Schedules are created in monthly increments (4 weeks)
• Float to inpatient units to take patients, float with tasks in CCU and ED
• Utilize Meditech documentation system
• Work with PCTs and SNEs in tech roles, with unit secretary during day shift hours
• BLS certification required
• Must maintain positive attitude and work effectively as part of a team
• Manage patient load while providing patient-centered care
• Some physicians perform bedside procedures on unit
• Dress code requires scrub tops and bottoms, no fleece, hoodies, sweatshirts, or sweaters allowed
• Long sleeve shirts under scrub tops or scrub jackets permitted
• Closed-toe shoes required (no holes), no denim or camouflage
• All experience levels welcome to apply
