OB / GYN; Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery (MIGS) - Hartford, Connecticut The most comprehensive, integrated health care system in Connecticut, has an outstanding opportunity for a BE / BC OB / GYN to provide Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery (MIGS) services at an 868-bed tertiary academic center and the flagship hospital for the $4 billion system. Position Details
- Full-time General OB / GYN with a focus on MIGS
- Care provided in both inpatient and ambulatory settings
- No obstetrics requirement
- Key role in training residents and medical students
- Gynecology service coverage, surgical procedures, and ambulatory care
- Lead the development of a comprehensive program for patients with endometriosis
- Outpatient care available at both the hospital-based clinic and affiliated community health centers
- Work alongside a multi-disciplinary team including :
- Generalists - Maternal-Fetal Medicine - Urogynecology - Gyn Oncology - Complex Family Planning - Gender Health - CNMs, NPs, PAs, Genetic Counselors Facility Details
- Newly renovated and expanding inpatient and ambulatory operating rooms
- Five DaVinci Robotic Surgical Systems

Qualifications
MD / DO from an accredited medical schoolEligible for Connecticut Medical LicenseBoard certified or board eligible in Obstetrics and GynecologyFellowship-trained in MIGS or significant experience in minimally invasive gynecologic surgeryFluency in Spanish or other languages is a plus, but not requiredCommunity Details Hartford offers proximity to both Boston and New York City, while maintaining an exceptional quality of life.
