As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure and welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. Your presence and attention to detail will help to deter security-related incidents while you provide outstanding customer service and clear communication. In this dynamic role, you will be part of a team that values caring, integrity, and innovation, making a positive difference every day through reliability and teamwork. Due to the safety sensitive nature of this role, qualified candidates must be able to submit to drug screening to the extent permissible by law. This assignment is in a healthcare facility. As such, a tuberculosis (TB) test and certain vaccinations may be required.

What You'll Do :
- Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities :
Assist hospital staff with de-escalation of situations involving patients; restrain combative individuals as necessary (within company and customer guidelines)Transport deceased patients to the morgue, as neededAssist in escorting patients from helicopter pad (high elevation) to the emergency roomProvide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including responding appropriately to emergency situations as neededRespond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain a secure environmentConduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or security-related incidentsMonitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas within the location to help to deter unauthorized access and report any irregularitiesDocument and report all security-related activities, observations, and incidents according to company and client proceduresWork collaboratively with healthcare staff and visitors to help to maintain a welcoming and secure environmentWhat We're Looking For :
At least 1 year of experience in a security-related role is requiredAvailability across various days and shiftsReliability and ability to adapt to different post assignmentsA desire to gain broad experience and grow within the companyInterest in transitioning into full-time roles when availableMinimum Requirements :
