Job descriptionSchedule : Monday-Friday 8am-4pm, 40 hours per week (with slight flexibility in hours if needed). Position is fully on site in the Sykesville, MD area. Pay : $16-17 / hour depending on experience Ideal start date : October 13, 2025 Provide great customer service to students, parents, and faculty in the store Process orders and run cash register Maintain bookstore inventory, keep shelves stocked, and ensure cleanliness through the store Move boxes and rearrange bookstore floor and stock room 1+ years' retail / customer service experience required Experience with POS systems (such as CounterPoint) a plus Basic Excel skills required Experience in higher education a plus, but not required Must be comfortable working around kids (primarily high schoolers) and m ust be able to pass a criminal background check

This person will act as a one person department and this role can become permanent for the right person
