Job Summary
The Payroll Analyst IV provides support for the Payroll Tax functional area within Payroll Shared Services. Administers and maintains state tax setups to ensure accurate withholding and remittance in compliance with applicable state laws. Researches and interprets Department of Labor (DOL) requirements for various states and communicates findings to the Manager of Payroll Tax and Remittances to ensure organizational compliance. Assists in the accurate processing of federal, state, and local tax withholdings. Supports the preparation and distribution of W-2 forms, including associated reconciliations and adjustments. Reconciles payroll liability accounts and prepares journal entries as needed. Coordinates the issuance of payroll tax payments and supports other activities associated with the Payroll Tax functional area. Participates in testing, implementation, and upgrades related to payroll tax processing in PeopleSoft. Provides reporting support as needed and serves as a backup to the Manager of Payroll Tax and Remittances. Collaborates with team members across Payroll Shared Services and Benefit Operations to ensure efficient service delivery. Performs other related duties as assigned, within the scope of Payroll Shared Services and Benefit Operations.
