Executive Director, Specialty Services

Responsible for strategic and operational leadership for the medical group. This role oversees the business and clinical operations of employed physician practices, advanced practice providers (APPs), and outpatient clinics to ensure high-quality, cost-effective, and patient-centered care. The Executive Director partners with physician leadership, administration, and support services to align operational performance with organizational goals.

Essential Functions

• Develop and execute operational plans in alignment with the organization's and health system's strategic objectives.
• Serve as a key liaison between physicians, clinical leaders, and executive administration to foster alignment and engagement.
• Identify growth opportunities, including service line expansion, new market entry, and physician recruitment.
• Direct daily operations of all medical group practices, including scheduling, staffing, revenue cycle processes, supply chain, and facilities management.
• Ensure efficient clinic workflows, access to care, and adherence to quality and safety standards.
• Oversee practice integration, onboarding of providers, and implementation of operational best practices.
• Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial performance of the medical group.
• Drive performance improvement initiatives related to patient satisfaction, clinical outcomes, and operational efficiency.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high‑performing management team and clinic staff.
