This job was posted by arjoblink.arkansas.gov. This position is primarily responsible for the operation of any trucks that require a CDL license. These will normally be local day runs with an occasional possibility for an overnight run. Secondarily, this position must be certified as a Material Handler to operate material handling equipment inside the facility and perform transactions as required. Additionally, there are vehicles that do not require a CDL that this position will also operate as needed.

Essential Duties

• Oversee the loading of all freight in the standard trailer, box truck, flatbed trailer or container chassis
• Make day run deliveries and pickups to suppliers, customers and container yard
• Pickup and delivery of equipment to shops for maintenance
• Perform standard material handler duties for shipping and receiving as required when transportation demand is low
• Performing daily equipment checks on the vehicles and trailers to ensure they are operating safely
