The Director of Nursing will work closely with the dynamic and highly qualified Unit Managers and Administrator to drive the overall success of the facility.

Qualifications

Must possess a current, unencumbered State of South Dakota RN license to practice.

Nursing experience; preferable in the long-term care setting.

Leadership competencies including developed interpersonal and communication skills, critical thinking, and the ability to inspire and operate effectively at all levels.

Must reside in Rapid City, South Dakota or surrounding areas, or be willing to relocate to Rapid City, South Dakota.

As a Director of Nursing, you are the heart of the Clinical Department. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at Avantara Mountain View by instilling a positive and inclusive facility culture, setting, and attaining Nursing Department goals, inspiring your clinical team, creative problem solving and overseeing all aspects of the Clinical Department. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they receive an unparalleled standard of care.
