Description : Manage inventory in order to supply manufacturing and / or technicians with the necessary parts for manufacturing or repairing units.
Specific duties and responsibilities :
Using Volex Spokane’s ERP systems :Cycle count inventoryAdjust count in computer as necessary to match actualReceive parts, label and place on shelves in proper locationsRetrieve parts for work orders and as requested by the production teamAccurately count a variety of partsRetrieve parts at technician’s requestEnter data on technician’s analysis formsReject and disposition damaged productsControl inventory between warehouses per buyer’s instructionsKeep all field service files in orderMaintain spreadsheets of tracking information and e-mail resultsMeet pre-scheduled planning dates of customer’s productsSupport other duties, as assignedWork Environment and Safety Equipment Required : The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of the job.
Working conditions are : 70% manufacturing environment, 30% computer workThis is an electronics manufacturing services environment that requires the use of safety devices including glasses with side shields and ESD equipment / clothingUsing proper PPE, the safe handling techniques, this position will be trained to safely handle and move lead solder and paste, isopropyl alcohol, flux, RTV, various adhesivesAbility to work in a team-based environmentThere are no travel requirements for this positionRequirements :
