About The Position

ID : 72773432 Shift : 7 : 00 AM-5 : 30 PM Description : This position cares for patients before, during and after angiography, interventional, angiographic cardiac catheterization procedures. This includes pre-procedure assessment, pre-medication, documentation of cath process, post-cath care, patient education. Scrubs in for procedures and assists other members of the cardiac catheterization laboratory.Responsibilities(35%)

• Performs nursing care of the catheterization / angiography patient.(35%)
• Operates equipment, i.e., cardiac output, hemodynamic, pacemakers / ICDs, intraaortic balloon pump, etc. Transfers patients, stocks supplies and performs basic office procedures.(15%)
• Scrubs in for procedures with the physician.(15%)
• Records all pertinent information on appropriate data sheets.
