Job description

Overview

Myriad Genetics is seeking a passionate and results-driven Oncology Sales Executive to join our team in the Arizona South territory , ideally based in Phoenix, AZ . This is a field-based sales role , requiring daily travel within the territory to engage with healthcare providers, oncology practices, and key stakeholders.

This role offers the opportunity to represent Myriad's cutting-edge oncology portfolio-including hereditary cancer testing, tumor profiling, and companion diagnostics -and make a meaningful impact on patient care through precision medicine.

We're looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment and is committed to improving lives through innovative cancer diagnostics.

Responsibility

Identify, develop, and manage commercial relationships with key opinion leaders in medicine and other key healthcare professionals.

Identify and capitalize on commercial opportunities for growth within a specific region or geography - predominately in the traditional out-patient practices, but also inclusive of institutions, local insurance payors, physician groups, long term care facilities, etc.

Manage full lifecycle of the product sales process, including new business development and lead generation via programs and other initiatives.

Collaborate with the marketing team on the development of sales and marketing collateral.

Attend local tradeshows, industry conferences and networking events.

Staying current on industry and marketplace trends in the areas of personalized medicine.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) preferred.

3+ years of sales experience or relevant clinical experience; preferably in biotech, healthcare, medical devices, or pharmaceuticals.

Must reside in the Territory.

Excellent presentation, training, coaching, and communication skills (both written and oral).

Strong interpersonal skills : active listening, coaching, advising, problem-solving, and facilitation.

Highly organized with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment.

Comfortable engaging customers remotely and in person.

Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information professionally.

Knowledge of Salesforce or similar CRM systems preferred.

proficient in Excel preferred.

Working knowledge of HIPAA laws and patient privacy regulations preferred.

Flexible, self-motivated, and able to work independently.

Valid driver's license and driving record meeting Myriad's policy standards.

Ability to model and live corporate values and professional ethics.

Physical Requirements

Lifting Requirements - sedentary to light work or exerting 10 to 20 pounds of force frequently. Physical Requirements - stationary positioning, moving, operating, ascending / descending, communicating, and observing. Use of equipment and tools necessary to perform essential job functions. OSHA category III - normal routine involves no exposure to blood, body fluid, or tissue and as part of the employment, will not be called upon to perform or assist in emergency care or first aid.
