Position Overview :

We are seeking a compassionate, patient, and enthusiastic Adaptive Swim Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with individuals of varying abilities and will be passionate about creating a safe, fun, and encouraging learning environment. Great job for ABA therapists, Special Education Teachers and Paraprofessionals!

Responsibilities :

Plan and teach adaptive swim lessons tailored to the needs and abilities of each participant.

Provide a safe, supportive, and encouraging environment for swimmers with physical, cognitive, or developmental disabilities.

Monitor swimmers at all times to ensure safety and well-being.

Communicate regularly with parents / guardians regarding swimmer progress, goals, and concerns.

Qualifications :

Experience teaching individuals with disabilities strongly desired.

Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with staff and families.

Patience, creativity, and flexibility in adapting teaching strategies.
