Description :

CIFC Health, a project of Connecticut Institute For Communities, Inc., seeks a part-time X-Ray Technician. The ideal candidate will be ARRT-certified with experience performing diagnostic X-rays in a fast-paced outpatient setting.  Youll play a vital role in assisting in the diagnosis and treatment of patients by producing high-quality images while ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Requirements :

  • Perform diagnostic X-ray procedures according to established protocols and physician orders.
  • Position patients accurately and safely to obtain optimal imaging.
  • Operate radiographic equipment, adjusting techniques as necessary for patient condition and area of interest.
  • Ensure all imaging is stored and documented accurately in the PACS system.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and patient-friendly environment.
  • Comply with all HIPAA, infection control, and radiation safety guidelines.
  • Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Fulfills all compliance responsibilities related to the position.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Successful candidates must possess a high school diploma or GED; and

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
  • ARRT certification in Radiography (R) required.
  • Valid Connecticut state radiologic technologist license.
  • BLS certification (American Heart Association or equivalent) required.
  • 1+ year of experience preferred (new grads with clinical experience may be considered).
  • Excellent communication and patient care skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
