Job descriptionQuantity reporting Document control – drawings, specifications, submittals, RFIs, correspondence, daily reports, meeting notes in project DFS Review submittals for coordination and adherence to plans and specifications Attend progress, planning, and safety meetings Assist with mobilization activities with superintendent Perform tasks for project completion : closeout documents, completion reports, final money collection Prepare closeout documents Support customer pay request requirements Perform quantity takeoffs on drawing changes Distribute change requests for pricing and schedule impact Maintain accurate documentation of inspections and quality reviews in DFS Ensure timely procurement and delivery of required construction materials Assist in creating project and proposal schedules Update progress for schedule reporting Assist superintendent with 3-week look-ahead schedules Quantity takeoffs Pricing of components of an estimate Solicitation of subcontractor and vendor bids Evaluation of bids Assist in site visits Supervise and coordinate subcontractors Assist superintendent with daily activities : material deliveries, equipment coordination Assist in development of work plans Review daily timesheets for accurate job cost data Perform safety observations and correct hazardous conditions Perform quality inspections of self-perform and subcontractor work Four-year degree in technical discipline Read and interpret project drawings and specifications Demonstrated college-level computer, math, communication, and technical writing skills Basic understanding of engineering or construction principles Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures Perform other duties as assigned See the "Know Your Rights" poster available in English and Spanish
