About ANS Geo :

ANS Geo is a leader in civil and geotechnical engineering solutions. We're looking for a motivated Field Service Technician- Drain Tile to join our Columbus team to support fieldwork, assist with projects, and help maintain high-quality standards on-site within our drain tile division. Opportunities to work across other divisions within the company outside core responsibilities.

Responsibilities :

  • Assist with drain tile survey and support, including fieldwork with irregular hours and weekends.
  • Perform site preparation, cleanup, and equipment maintenance.
  • Transport and handle tools, materials, and equipment.
  • Provide lab assistance as required to support testing and analysis.
  • Travel for drain tile work, with flexibility for irregular hours.
  • Support engineers and technicians on-site.
  • Maintain compliance with OSHA and safety standards.

Qualifications :

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to work outdoors, travel, and perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Strong communication skills and team collaboration.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs safely.
  • OSHA certification (or willingness to obtain).
  • Earth Work : 1 year (Preferred)

    • Optional Qualifications :

  • Heavy Machinery / Earth work Experience.
  • Non CDL Large Truck Experience.
  • Technical Reporting.

    • Work Schedule :

  • Regular hours while in the office.
  • Willingness to travel : 75% (Required). Flexible schedule for field travel, including weekends and irregular hours.
  • Occasional out-of-state travel for specific projects.
