American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with at least 1 year of acute care experience and ARRT (CT) certification for a multi-modality role on night shifts.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
Work in an acute care setting within the Radiology department as a multi-modality technologistPrimary focus on CT scans with additional responsibilities for plain film imagingDepartment is equipped with 1 Siemens CT scanner, 1 plain film room, and 1 portable Care Stream systemPerform ortho portable images, thorax, abdomen, pelvis, and CTA studiesAverage workload is 10-15 scans per dayUses Epic and Synapse EMR / PACS systemsNight shifts from 6 : 45 PM to 6 : 45 AM, every other weekend requiredSelf-scheduling available, but scheduling is manager-adjusted when necessaryFirst to float and may be asked to float to other locations if neededWill be cross-trained in point-of-care (POC) lab procedures and act as support for nursing staffLead technologist support available at each siteTwo-day department-specific orientation providedScrubs are not provided; gray scrubs requiredMust be in-state for the week of orientation even if remote modules are assignedMust live at least 60 miles from the facility as determined by permanent address and driver’s licenseReturning candidates may not have worked directly for this health system within the past year in any capacity except PRN through outside staffing firmsHoliday coverage includes one summer and one winter holiday offNo call or standby requirementMay be asked to float within designated float zones per policy\n \n Requirements\n
Minimum 1 year of CT experience in an acute care settingActive ARRT (R) and ARRT (CT) certifications requiredCurrent BLS certification (AHA required)Experience starting IVs preferredTeam-oriented with proven teamwork skillsEpic and Synapse EMR / PACS experience preferredMust provide a valid driver's license for considerationTwo professional references required : one supervisor reference from the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor reference from the last 3 yearsLicense required if applicable\n Benefits\n
