Job descriptionWork in an acute care setting within the Radiology department as a multi-modality technologist Primary focus on CT scans with additional responsibilities for plain film imaging Department is equipped with 1 Siemens CT scanner, 1 plain film room, and 1 portable Care Stream system Perform ortho portable images, thorax, abdomen, pelvis, and CTA studies Average workload is 10-15 scans per day Uses Epic and Synapse EMR / PACS systems Night shifts from 6 : 45 PM to 6 : 45 AM, every other weekend required Self-scheduling available, but scheduling is manager-adjusted when necessary First to float and may be asked to float to other locations if needed Will be cross-trained in point-of-care (POC) lab procedures and act as support for nursing staff Lead technologist support available at each site Two-day department-specific orientation provided Scrubs are not provided; gray scrubs required Must be in-state for the week of orientation even if remote modules are assigned Must live at least 60 miles from the facility as determined by permanent address and driver’s license Returning candidates may not have worked directly for this health system within the past year in any capacity except PRN through outside staffing firms Holiday coverage includes one summer and one winter holiday off No call or standby requirement May be asked to float within designated float zones per policy Minimum 1 year of CT experience in an acute care setting Active ARRT (R) and ARRT (CT) certifications required Current BLS certification (AHA required) Experience starting IVs preferred Team-oriented with proven teamwork skills Epic and Synapse EMR / PACS experience preferred Must provide a valid driver's license for consideration Two professional references required : one supervisor reference from the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor reference from the last 3 years License required if applicable High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts
