Loss Mitigation Specialist

Location Bedford, TX | Onsite

Compensation & Schedule

  • $20.00 / hr
  • Monday to Friday, 8 : 00 AM – 5 : 00 PM
  • Temp-to-Hire (W2)

ROLE IMPACT :    This position plays a key role in minimizing financial losses and maximizing recovery by managing the end-to-end repossession and recovery process. Your efforts will directly influence borrower retention and asset recovery outcomes by maintaining compliance, vendor accountability, and performance tracking.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coordinate vehicle repossessions, asset tracking, and auction scheduling
  • Establish and manage borrower payment plans via ACH
  • Resolve escalated customer issues to improve satisfaction and retention
  • Audit recovery performance and enforce vendor service levels
  • Process and notarize required recovery and legal documents

    • MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • 1+ year of experience in loss mitigation, repossession, or auto finance
  • Strong verbal communication and negotiation skills
  • Texas Notary Commission or eligibility to obtain upon hire
  • Proven ability to work independently in high-volume environments

    • CORE TOOLS & SYSTEMS

  • Microsoft Office Suite
  • Recovery / Collections platforms (e.g., iRepo, RecoveryConnect)
  • ACH processing systems
  • CRM systems

    • PREFERRED SKILLS

  • Experience with asset recovery analytics or reporting tools
  • Bilingual (English / Spanish) communication skills
  • Background in financial compliance or loan servicing
