Estate Planning Associate Attorney

Kembell Woods & Martinsen LLP is seeking a full-time Estate Planning Associate Attorney to join our team in Overland Park, Kansas. We specialize in providing highly personalized estate planning and trust administration services to a wide range of clients, including high net worth individuals and families.

• About the Role

As an associate at our firm, you will work closely with a team of experienced attorneys to support a diverse client base with a wide range of estate planning needs from basic estate planning to complex estate, tax, and wealth transfer planning. You will have the opportunity to contribute to the design and implementation of estate plans, assist with estate and trust administration, and engage directly with clients and their advisors.

We are looking for candidates with 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in estate planning or trust and estate administration. However, we will also consider motivated attorneys with exceptional writing skills, attention to detail, and strong interpersonal skills who are seeking to transition into the estate planning field.

• Qualifications
• J.D. from an accredited law school and licensed (or eligible for licensure) in Kansas
• 25 years of experience in estate planning and / or trust administration preferred.
• Excellent legal writing, communication, and analytical skills.
• High attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
• Professional demeanor and client-centered approach to legal services.
