Application Engineer- Regional Graduate Program

Summary

The Application Engineer provides technical sales support and product selection, product pricing, and quotation support for our mechanical variable speed drives used in Power Generation, Oil & Gas as well as in growth fields such as hydrogen. This position requires an understanding of primary mechanical power transmission engineering design and application knowledge for compressor and pump drive lines. The Application Engineer is part of the global Sales Support team and will be supported by Experts from the factory in Germany.

We are currently looking for highly motivated candidates for entry level technical positions in North America through our Regional Graduate Program (RGP). This program utilizes an initial rotational training program for up to months. The job rotations expose RGP members to all aspects of our business : Manufacturing, Application / Development and Field Sales / Service. The goal of the rotational training program is to identify an area of interest that is the best fit for both Voith and the individual.

Candidates should have a 4-year degree or be completing one soon. Exposure to industrial settings would be beneficial but is not required. Communication and team skills are critical, as these positions require frequent customer interaction and working together with other
