In this role you will be responsible for : Float to assigned unit / s : Med surg / Tele or ICU Assists patients with activities of daily living such as feeding, toileting and hygiene Provides basic nursing care to non-acutely and acutely ill patients Assists in maintenance of a safe and clean environment Works under the directions and supervision of the registered nurse in charge of the team and / or unit Answers phones and call lights Ensures unit is stocked with supplies Assists patient transporter as needed Other duties as assigned Shifts : Night Shift, 7 : 00 p.
m. to 7 : 30 a.m. Experience : 2 or more years of nursing assistant experience (strongly preferred) Certifications : Certified Nursing Assistant (preferred) Current BCLS certification (required) Knowledge, Skills, Abilities : Ability to read and communicate effectively in English?
Basic computer knowledge?? Nursing Students : Enrolled in an accredited Nursing program (Associate's, Bachelor's or Master's) and in good standing.
