Locum Tenens Opportunity Cardiologist (Near Dixon, MT) A medical facility near Dixon, Montana is currently seeking a Board-Certified Cardiologist for an ongoing locum tenens position. This opportunity allows you to provide both inpatient and outpatient care, assisting a community in need while exploring the natural beauty of Montana. Here are the details : Position Highlights : Location : Near Dixon, Montana Type of Care : Both inpatient and outpatient cardiology care Practice Setting : Includes clinical hours plus on-call duties Call Response Time : 20 minutes Patients per Shift : 9-12 patients Privileges : Hospital privileges required Key Responsibilities : Provide care for both inpatient and outpatient cardiology patients Perform non-invasive cardiology procedures such as : Echocardiography Transesophageal Echo (TEE) Nuclear cardiology PA catheter placement Cardiac catheterization (diagnostic) Invasive procedures like STEMI care On-call duties will involve both phone consultations and patient follow-ups. Required Qualifications : Board Certification : Yes (Internal Medicine - Cardiology) Fellowship : Preferred Must be comfortable handling both inpatient and outpatient cardiology services. Ability to handle a range of cases, from routine echocardiography to invasive diagnostic cardiology. Experience with Epic EMR system is beneficial.
