Lead the Charge as a Technical Service Director!

Have you envisioned yourself guiding the pivotal operations of a service center? At Transwest Mobile, your role as a Technical Service Director at our San Antonio / Converse location will be key. You'll manage all aspects of service operations, optimize technician efforts, and enhance customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.

Your Role :

  • Steer daily department processes, focusing on workflow and operational productivity.
  • Lead and empower technicians, fostering a culture of high performance.
  • Ensure timely processing of repair orders and accurate data entry.
  • Resolve customer concerns with efficiency, ensuring transparent communication.
  • Work closely with parts, sales, and ops for an integrated service experience.
  • Enforce adherence to safety measures and regulatory standards.
  • Periodically assess service metrics, driving improvements where necessary.
  • Support staffing efforts through recruitment and training of service personnel.
  • Manage inventory, ensuring the readiness of tools and equipment.

Candidate Requirements :

  • Extensive experience in service management, particularly in diesel or mechanical sectors.
  • Proficient leadership and communication strengths.
  • High competency in organizational and problem-solving tasks.
  • Familiarity with service management systems such as Fullbay is ideal.
  • Technical expertise in diesel, mechanical, or automotive domains.
  • Valid driver’s license; completion of background checks and drug testing required.

    • Additional Skills :

  • Computer system knowledge.
  • Experience in orchestrating shop schedules and technician activities.

    • Understanding of DOT and OSHA regulations.
