As Lead Engineer in Metal Additive Manufacturing, you will join Grundfos´ Advanced Manufacturing Engineering, specifically the area of Additive Manufacturing (AM). The position balances innovation, production, development activities and management demands – ensuring Metal AM becomes as valuable to Grundfos as possible.

What is the job about?

You will spearhead the development of Metal AM at Grundfos, driving technological advancements that will shape the future of our products and contribute to sustainable solutions. You will nurture close cooperation with development, production, and external collaboration partners. You drive the actions needed to reach new goals within materials, technologies and quality improvements to match needs in product development.

Responsibilities

  • Leadership : Develop and implement a strategic roadmap to advance Metal AM technologies, ensuring alignment with Grundfos' innovation goals.
  • Collaboration : Foster strong partnerships with internal teams, external partners, and academia to drive innovation and ensure seamless information flow.
  • AM Utilization : Drive the usage of Metal AM in development projects.
  • Production support : Engage in advanced problem solving, executing of experiments and implementing new procedures.
  • Production platforms : Develop, describe, and maintain new production platforms within Metal AM.

Background / Qualifications

  • A Master or bachelor's in engineering and min. 5 years' experience within AM.
  • Proven expertise in technology management and a strong track record of driving innovation in production environments.
  • Great communication skills in English, both oral and written.
  • High-level understanding of technical issues and ability to impact business and customer relationships.
