Diesel Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diesel engine repair and be proficient in diagnosing and resolving mechanical issues. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can work independently and as part of a team to ensure the optimal performance of diesel vehicles and equipment. Must have your own tools.

• Responsibilities
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines, including diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs.
• Utilize schematics to identify issues and implement effective solutions.
• Conduct automotive diagnostics to assess vehicle performance and safety.
• Repair and maintain hydraulic systems, ensuring they operate efficiently.
• Work with farm machinery and other heavy equipment as needed.
• Assemble components as required for repairs or upgrades.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their vehicle needs.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols.
• Experience
• Proven experience in diesel engine repair is essential.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics for effective troubleshooting.
• Experience with automotive diagnostics tools and techniques.
• Previous work in a similar environment is preferred.
• Knowledge of hydraulics and farm machinery repair is advantageous.
• Strong soldering skills are beneficial for electrical repairs.
