Job Summary :

We are seeking a results-driven and customer-focused E-Commerce Manager to oversee and grow our online retail presence. This role is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our e-commerce platform, driving digital sales, optimizing user experience, and executing strategies that elevate our brand in the digital space. This is a full-time on-site role as an E-Commerce Manager located in New York, NY at Milano Jewelry. The ideal candidate combines creativity with analytical thinking and thrives in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities :

Website Management & Optimization

  • Oversee all aspects of the e-commerce website, ensuring a seamless and engaging user experience.
  • Manage product uploads, categorization, pricing, imagery, and on-site merchandising.
  • Monitor site performance and coordinate with developers / designers to resolve bugs, improve speed, and enhance UX / UI.

Digital Sales Strategy

  • Develop and implement strategies to drive traffic, increase conversion rates, and grow online sales.
  • Collaborate with marketing to plan and execute digital campaigns (SEM, Meta Ads etc), promotions, and seasonal launches.
  • Analyze e-commerce KPIs and use data to inform decisions and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Customer Experience

  • Ensure an exceptional customer journey from landing page to checkout and post-purchase communication.
  • Work with customer service to streamline issue resolution and improve satisfaction and retention.
  • Implement personalization strategies and A / B testing to enhance the shopping experience.
  • Inventory & Fulfillment Coordination

  • Partner with inventory, warehouse, and logistics teams to ensure accurate stock levels and timely fulfillment.
  • Monitor out-of-stock issues, returns, and order discrepancies to minimize disruption and maintain customer trust.
  • Content & Merchandising

  • Collaborate with creative teams to ensure brand consistency across all digital assets.
  • Manage product content, landing pages, banners, and promotional assets to support campaigns and sales goals.
  • Stay up to date on e-commerce trends, best practices, and competitor activity.
  • Platform & Vendor Management

  • Manage relationships with third-party platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento, Klaviyo, ShipStation, etc.).
  • Evaluate new tools and technology to improve site performance, marketing automation, and conversion optimization.
  • Reporting & Insights

  • Track and report weekly and monthly e-commerce metrics (sales, traffic, conversion, AOV, etc.).
  • Generate actionable insights to continuously improve performance and customer engagement.
  • Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, E-Commerce, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of hands-on experience managing e-commerce platforms, preferably in retail or luxury goods.
  • Strong knowledge of Shopify (or similar platforms), Google Analytics, Social Media Marketing, SEO / SEM, and conversion optimization.
  • Proven track record of driving online sales growth and improving customer experience.
  • Experience with email marketing platforms (e.g., Klaviyo) and digital advertising tools (e.g., Meta Ads Manager).
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make strategic decisions.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills; comfortable working cross-functionally.
