Salary Range : $97,520.00 - $108,120.00 Salary / Year

Travel Percentage : Up to 25%

Position Summary : The Program Manager for Youth Mobile Crisis Intervention provides supervision, leadership, and oversight to a clinical team delivering behavioral health interventions to children, youth, and their families with intensive, therapeutic, crisis response and community safety needs. This position requires a vibrant and dynamic leader able to motivate and support the team to provide strength based unconditional services that support a youth's vital connections to family and community. The Program Manager must ensure that services provided are compliant with the Mobile Response and Stabilization Services (MRSS) Model and the National Association of State Mental Health Program Directors (NASMHPD) guidance on improving the child and adolescent crisis system. Duties of this position also include hiring and training, mentoring and motivating, clinical consultation, monitoring for safety, participating in leadership decisions, ensuring complete and accurate documentation, completing performance reviews, providing back-up coverage for staff, and working with and promoting positive relationships with community partners and natural supports.

Responsibilities

Training, Mentoring & Team Leadership :

  • Provides comprehensive clinical training that includes field-based coaching and mentorship in family homes and community settings, instruction and guidance on urgent safety crisis response and planning, and facilitation of team meetings to reinforce best practices.
  • Leads clinical team to engage and support families in the therapeutic process, utilizing parent / family expertise in problem solving around specific needs and connecting them with community resources, both formal and informal.
  • Provides clinical training and ongoing support to team members including guidance on crisis response, team collaboration, behavior support plans, motivational interviewing, trauma informed care, and safety monitoring to ensure well-being of staff and clients.
  • Develops a strong, thriving, positive and effective team built on collaborative and respectful relationships.

Direct Treatment Services :

  • Provide clinical staff support and be available for emergency in-home assessments or be responsible to delegate such duties.
  • Collaboration with Community Partners :

  • Maintains positive working relationships with other professionals, child providers, community organizations and individuals in the community.
  • Builds collaborative relationships with behavioral health, education, justice, and community support systems to enhance service coordination.
  • Documentation :

  • Provides training in documentation and the process to enter clinical data in an Electronic Health Record, accurately reflecting the clinical work done by assigned staff.
  • Leads efforts to promote a culture of privacy and security of Protected Health Information within a HIPAA covered organization, including educating staff on their responsibilities.
  • Demonstrates an ability to use technology to track and evaluate service utilization and consumer outcomes for their team such as performance dashboards and outcome reports. Along with the other management staff, ensure consumer satisfaction and participate in the grievance process and resolution.
