About The Position
Key Responsibilities :
Perform screening and diagnostic mammography procedures as ordered by physicians.
Ensure proper patient positioning, image quality, and radiation safety standards.
Explain procedures clearly to patients and provide compassionate care throughout the exam.
Maintain accurate patient records and comply with HIPAA guidelines.
Operate and maintain mammography equipment, reporting malfunctions as needed.
Follow all ARRT, ACR, MQSA, and FDA regulations for mammography imaging.
Assist with quality control testing and accreditation requirements.
Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare staff to ensure timely delivery of results.
Maintain a clean, safe, and patient-centered work environment.

Job Requirements
Qualifications :
ARRT certification in Radiography (R) required.
ARRT advanced certification in Mammography (M) preferred / required (depending on state).
State license in Radiologic Technology (if applicable).
Minimum 1–2 years of mammography experience preferred (new graduates with clinical training may be considered).
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with patients and staff.
Knowledge of MQSA standards, ACR guidelines, and radiation safety procedures.
