JOB INFORMATION :

• HeyTutor has partnered with a school district in Long Beach and we're looking to hire paraprofessionals / paraeducators who can assist students before and during school hours.
• You will be working with students in K-12th grade.
• You'll be actively supervising students as you help them catch up from learning gaps developed over the past school year.
• You must be comfortable passing an IN-PERSON background check.

JOB DESCRIPTION :

Paraeducators will work with special education teachers to support the needs of students who have IEP.  As research supports inclusion of students with disabilities, with guidance from federal legislation, such as the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), students will be scheduled into classes based on their individual needs.  Instructional duties that could be assigned to a Paraeducator :

Speech & Language Pathologist, School Psychologist, Occupational Therapist, etc).  Provide bathroom assistance to students Other duties as assigned by special education teacher  PAY :
