Project Manager
Responsibility for the development, prioritization, resourcing, and management of the IO&E site project portfolio. To lead implementation of key franchise site programs by leveraging project management tools and best practices, and effective indirect management of cross functional teams and stakeholders in the New Product Development space. Proactively coordinate with quality, engineering, and maintenance other development functions to facilitate priorities, projects process development, and improvements needed to support business goals and objectives. Key interface on cross functional programs with sterility assurance, planning, manufacturing / plants, and distribution stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include :
- Project / Program Management : Manages key initiating, planning, executing, controlling, and closing processes; develops and implements project plan; builds team ownership and commitment to project plan.
- Estimates project levels of effort and resource requirements by using standard estimating techniques and tools, and by working with appropriate staff to understand scope of effort.
- Prepares project plans, schedules and budgets by using project management tools such as Microsoft Project and by working with appropriate staff to understand tasks necessary to complete project.
- Directs project execution by assigning tasks, tracking project schedules, identifying risks, and developing and executing contingency plans.
- Identifies and manages project dependencies and critical path items while ensuring project quality and utilizing and following appropriate methodologies (e.g. GSM).
- Assures project quality by using standard development methodologies.
- Communicates project status by preparing standard status reports, and by participating in departmental and customer project status update meetings.
- Resolves project issues by working with team members, project stakeholders' customers, and others as appropriate.
- Consults with internal project groups by sharing project management knowledge.
- Conducts project postmortems and communicates lessons learned to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.
- Participates in external project management organizations, conferences and seminars to keep current with industry best practices in project management by joining professional associations and implementing a professional development plan with focus on project management.
- People Management : Manages medium-sized (occasionally multi-site) cross-functional development teams; leads teams effectively; provides input to functional managers on team and team member performance.
- Site PMO / Project Portfolio management : Oversees development, prioritization, resourcing, and status / tracking of site cross functional programs. Acts as liaison with other functions / sties for projects site is a contributor or stakeholder in.
- Communications and Reviews : Responsible for team and cross-functional communications; liaison between the team and leadership PIB; leads phase and business reviews, project meeting minutes, issues log, metrics, and other key communications.
- Collaboratively works with cross-functional management teams on resourcing, development, and feedback of team members to align with strategic business needs and desired skill sets.
Required qualifications include :
Bachelor's degree required.Minimum of 5 years participating and leading in product development teams.Expertise in managing multiple significant, cross functional projects and / or initiatives simultaneously.Experience with business critical and high visibility sustaining and / or new product development projects.Experience leading small and medium cross-functional teams as a Project Manager, Operations Leader or Technical Leader.Proven track record managing multiple complex, high-impact projects simultaneously.Excellent communication, organizational, and influencing skills.Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Teams, PowerPoint, Excel) and project management software (MS Project, MS Office Timeline, Visio).Ability to lead virtual teams and work across all levels and functions of the organization.Strong attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.Preferred qualifications include :
PMP certification is a plus.
