Quality Control – Video Auditor

Position Description and Essential Functions :

The Sewer Camera Quality Control Auditor performs quality control audits on work performed by camera crews in the sewer camera inspection services teams. Camera crews perform videography of certain underground utility facilities to assess irregularities. The Quality Control Auditor reviews that footage. Quality Control Auditors adhere to all Safety and Quality policies, the company’s Core Values, client standards, and procedures.

Job Summary :

Perform quality control audits on work performed by camera crews in the natural

gas distribution industry. Camera crews perform videography of certain

underground utility facilities to assess irregularities. The Quality Control Auditor

reviews that footage. Quality Control Auditors adhere to all Safety and Quality

policies, the company’s Core Values, and the client’s standards and procedures.

Minimum Qualifications :

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to observe video recordings and identify abnormalities.
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite. Proficient in Excel.
  • Ability to read and comprehend industry-related standards, procedures, specifications, requirements, manufacturers’ instructions, etc.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Experience in the public utility industry, with an emphasis on natural gas distribution preferred.
  • Previous employment in a role related to QA / QC in the utility construction or natural gas distribution industry is preferred.
  • Expressed interest and desire to contribute to a growing sector of the natural industry and the Quality field.
  • Work Environment :

    Work is performed in an office. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets.

    Physical Requirements :

  • Prolonged periods of standing.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting.
  • Education Requirements :

    High School Diploma / Equivalent
