A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. • Work in Cardiovascular Progressive Care Unit (CVPCU) on the 4th floor of the inpatient tower
• Maintain patient ratios of 1 : 4 or 1 : 5
• Work with telemetry patients and drip medications including BIPAP equipment
• Use Meditech EMR system
• Required to work every other weekend or 4 weekend shifts per schedule
• Float to PCU, Med / Surg, and Telemetry units as needed
• Work collaboratively with CNCs, RNs, LVNs, techs, and unit clerks
• Must be willing to work with LVNs and students
• Care for patients undergoing CABG, Heart Cath with PCI, Watchman procedures, pacemaker insertions, CHF management, chest pain evaluation, and valve procedures
• Must maintain positive attitude and demonstrate flexibility as a team player
• Required certification : ACLS
• Telemetry competency required
• Cardiac experience preferred
