  • Weekend & Holiday Rotation : Required (every other weekend and rotating holidays)

  • Charting System : EPIC

    • \n\t

  • Estimated Weekly Salary : $1990-$2130

    • \n \n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n\n \n\t

  • Active Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license or proof of application

    • \n\t

  • BLS certification (AHA required)

    • \n\t

  • ACLS certification recommended

    • \n\t

  • Minimum 1 year of recent experience in Telemetry or Cardio Thoracic nursing

    • \n\t

  • Clinical proficiency in EKG interpretation and medication titration

    • \n\t

  • Ability to float to other general medical units as needed

    • \n \n\nTelemetry RN Responsibilities\n\n \n\t

  • Deliver high-quality patient care to individuals with cardiac and thoracic conditions, including MI, CHF, A-fib, COPD, and post-surgical cases

    • \n\t

  • Monitor and interpret telemetry strips (Phillips monitors) and respond promptly to changes in patient status

    • \n\t

  • Titrate cardiac drips (Cardizem, heparin) as ordered by physicians

    • \n\t

  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team, including charge nurses, house supervisors, and patient care techs

    • \n\t

  • Assist with respiratory equipment (CPAP, BiPAP, high flow oxygen) as needed

    • \n\t

  • Accurately document patient care in the EPIC electronic health record system

    • \n\t

  • Maintain compliance with unit policies, dress code (any color scrubs except children / cartoon prints), and orientation requirements
