Remote, within the Continental U.S.

The Field Sales Representative, Community Colleges, is a consultative role, responsible for achieving sales territory growth by selling current and historical news content to Community Colleges. This position is remote from your home office.

Starting Salary Range

$70,000 base with a commission package

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Achieve or exceed individual goals e.g. prospect sales, renewing existing customer subscriptions, and upgrading of existing customers
• Strategize and grow territory to increase market penetration
• Schedule appointments to uncover customer and prospects’ needs
• Conduct high-impact virtual and live discovery / presentations / demonstrations of NewsBank’s information products
• Generate leads, add new opportunities into pipeline, and move opportunities in pipeline to sale
• Accurately forecast sales pipeline
• Accurately record all activity in CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software
