About the Role
The Company is in need of a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to provide strategic leadership and manage the financial operations of a healthcare facility. The CFO will be responsible for financial planning, budgeting, and analysis, as well as overseeing operational departments such as revenue cycle, accounting, and materials management. This executive role requires close collaboration with the CEO, executive team, and department leaders to ensure fiscal sustainability and support the organization's long-term growth. Key responsibilities include preparing financial statements, evaluating vendor contracts, leading financial planning initiatives, and managing the annual budget process. Candidates for the CFO position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with a Master's degree or MBA preferred. A CPA or FHFMA certification is strongly preferred, and a minimum of 5 years' experience in financial leadership within a healthcare environment is required. The ideal candidate will possess key competencies in strategic leadership, collaboration, communication, decision-making, results-driven, and developmental leadership. The CFO will also be expected to stay current with industry trends, regulatory updates, and best practices, and ensure compliance with financial reporting requirements.
