LMFT - Corrections - Substance Abuse Treatment

The Marriage and Family Counselor provides professional counseling services designed in assisting participants in behavior change to maintain a healthy lifestyle and quality of life through individual and group therapy.

Minimum Requirements :

• Bachelor’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work or related field preferred
• Master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling or Social Work, Family Therapy preferred
• Licensed as a Professional Counselor, Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) as required by state regulations and / or contract specifications
• One (1) year of experience in counseling preferred
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age

Job Description :

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking experienced Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists (LMFTs) for a correctional facility in Corcoran, CA , specializing in substance abuse treatment . This is a travel contract position with flexible scheduling and competitive weekly pay.

Position Details :

Mon-Fri (5×8), 8 : 00 AM - 4 : 30 PM

Compensation :

$1460 Taxable Income
