ECommerce Specialist
Our client in the beauty industry is seeking an experienced eCommerce Specialist to enhance the online sales strategies and take ownership of executing and maintaining the digital storefronts. This is a hands-on role where one will manage product catalogs, optimize SEO, and keep both Shopify & Amazon Storefront performing at its best. Must be based in West Coast to be considered.
Key Responsibilities :
Shopify :
- Catalog & Content Management : Maintain and optimize up to 1,000 SKUs, including titles, pricing, imagery, tags, collections, and metafields. Use bulk tools like Matrixify for efficient updates and data cleanup.
- Site Operations & Optimization : Manage app integrations (reviews, subscriptions, upsells), troubleshoot website issues, and execute SEO best practices across meta titles, descriptions, alt text, and keyword placement.
- Promotions & Merchandising : Build and maintain collections, bundles, and pricing tiers. Schedule and refresh site content aligned with launches and promotional calendars, supporting campaigns and A / B testing.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration & UX Improvements : Utilize social media marketing to promote products and engage with customers across various platforms.
Amazon Management :
Catalog & Listing Management : Partner with agencies to ensure Seller Central catalog accuracy, policy compliance, and SEO optimization across titles, bullets, and backend search terms.Content Optimization : Upload and maintain A+ content, imagery, and copy to enhance product presentation and drive engagement.Performance Monitoring & Strategy : Track visibility, sales rank, and conversions; refine listings and strategies based on performance data and customer feedback.Campaign Support & Collaboration : Collaborate with management to plan and execute promotional campaigns, aligning content and tactics for maximum impact.SEO & Optimization :
Conduct keyword research across platforms.Optimize product and content copy, metadata, and listings for maximum discoverability and conversions.Track SEO performance, report insights, and implement improvements.Stay current on algorithm updates and adjust strategies accordingly.Qualifications :
Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.Proven experience in eCommerce or digital marketing roles.Strong knowledge of Google Analytics and web analytics tools.Experience with PPC advertising and managing online advertising campaigns.Familiarity with Content Management Systems (CMS) and online merchandising.Understanding of user experience design principles and customer experience optimization.Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Benefits include PTO, sick time, 401k.
